Tennis mantras, court quotes, self justifications, etc.

• We've all got a few mantras, sayings, self-justifications that I thought I'd start to collect.   Please feel free to add to our collection from time to time.
• Over the net, in the blue part! --- my favorite!
• You pay for the whole racquet, use the whole racquet --- usually heard after an off-the -frame winner.
• Playing the whites --- someone who consistently hits the lines
• Guard the T like a pot of gold
• Guard the T like your children or grandchildren are there
• Protect the middle of the court --- always
• Get to the net and stay there --- what my wife always tells me
• You drive for show, you putt for dough --- wait, that's for golf
• Remember  ---  when you open a new can of tennis balls, if you don't hear that hisss sound, whatever you do, don't eat them ---  a way to avoid being poisoned by bad tennis balls
