Vice President - Al Peters

• Al suggested merging Rossmoor Team Tennis with RTC-- It was decided to have the the Super Seniors (65 Plus) , A 3 Team (55  Plus), and the Men's Team all be part of the RTC. The club would pay the league registration fees and pay for balls for home matches. The VP would manage and oversee the teams. A representative from each team (Dave Kern for SMIL and Mary Benin for the women's teams) would be Ad Hoc Committee Chairpersons to report to the VP.  They should write up minimum playing standards and qualifications for their teams.

Secretary - Barbara Landberg

Treasurer - Ken Steiner

• The bank balance is $12,000.30 as of 9/18/22 and this includes a deposit  of $2160 which was made toward our holiday party. 

Tournaments - Chris Slee

• The Men's Tournament was successful on 9/17/22 with 24 men playing. The Sept. 3rd Wild Card was cancelled due to extreme heat. A Women's tournament will be held in mid October and Jerry Robinson has offered to be in charge.

Social - David Hickey

• In Dave's absence, the club voted to charge $50. for Holiday Party instead of $45. as it was last year. The planning committee decided that no vaccination cards will be required and one price for all that attend.
• Room reservations for 2023 have been made.
• New members party is Oct 8th from 5 to 9 at Dollar Club House. Assignments have been given out. We decided to give each new member a can of tennis balls (Barbara has 8 cans that were donated and Amy has balls to donate)
• Terry will get cold finger food at Cosco. We decided to invite Mary Benin, Dave Kern, Eugenio and Sherry in addition to the 51 people
• Board members should arrive at 4 to set up
• We need a playlist of holiday music for Holiday Party to be played from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Membership - Terry Quinlan

• 41 New Members in 2022- 6 in August, 2 in Sept. (total membership 229)
• Ball machine users #85
• Two people paid less because they used old applications with a different fee and they  joined in the summer
• New member party --personal invites were sent to new members and board members received invites at meeting--reminders will be e mailed to people who responded yes
• Etiquette reminders 
• Ball machine reminders - only for paid BM users, no family or friends, do not give out lock combo
• review of website descriptions eg Ball Machine Clinic - names, old dates; online application has to have Banner amount changed to reflect 6/1 or 7/1 price reduction

Facilities - Jerry Quinlan

• The board voted to have maintenance on the Ball machine and the heavy duty sweeper
• Court usage  In August --we averaged 68 players per day 
• Courts 1-6 are enjoying new chairs

Publicity - Amy Bollinger

• Dave Hickey contacted Amy about doing an article highlighting 4 men who reconnected at Rossmoor. 
• She might also highlight 90 year olds still playing tennis
